An ID I made for my group on FA, TheToyBox. I picked 3 characters of the 34 members so far, as promised.

TheToyBox is a (PG-13, max) group for people who have characters that are some type of magical sentient toy, be they robots, plushes, rag dolls, bjd dolls, wind-up toys, inflatables, marionettes, etc! Just submit (note me the link to) your best example of your character (whether it’s a drawing or a real toy you’ve made) to become a member. After that, any art of that character should be exclusive to the group (not posted anywhere else on FA), just to give it some original content and draw in more members. Make sure to fav/comment at the original submission, which is always linked in the descriptions to each upload. Otherwise, the original artists may never read your nice comments. Isn’t that sad? ;_;

This group makes me so happy, you guys. ;u; I just want to draw every character submitted in one big adorable colorful group picture. Maybe one day.

Boogle as she was drawn in 2007 vs a picture of her I just finished. She’s changed a lot, as you can see. I think she has a more realistic, weighted look, and looks more like me, which is good since she IS me. Her hair is longer and more doll-like and her flesh, when visible, is more purpley-toned and less human-looking, which is also good since she isn’t technically human. Her outfits are more whimsical and girly, as well.

Anyway, I just found this when sifting through old art, and thought it’d be fun to re-do it, since I don’t think I’ve drawn her juggling since the old version!

I just had to share this awesome commission I bought from kinasaur. I asked for Boogle cuddling a Gromble plush that looked well-loved and patched up, and she delivered splendidly :o)

My birthday (this Summer Solstice) should be awesome. I hereby invite everyone to come hungry, & bring an extra set of clothes. Water balloon fights & other kiddy water games imminent!!! It’s likely to be an outdoor sleep-over party for those who aren’t WUSSIES… complete with rugged spooky tent, creepy-crawlies in jars, spooky stories & burnt marshmallows… and maybe a few other little surprises. Mwahaha! I’m hoping this will be a birthday filled with all the childish things that I love… a dash of Halloween, a spoonful of tropical Summer weather, a pinch of childhood reminiscence, and a healthy helping of messy fun :o)

The last cook-out party I held was nice, I so enjoyed having everyone here. I’m hoping everyone will be able to make it again… Jonathan, Kristy, Jesse, Dylan, Jenny and Amanda… and Jonathan says there are still some friends of his he’d like to introduce me to. All I know about them so far is that they are reptile lovers, which already gives them a notch in my book! 

Haha, 12 days away and I’m already so excited about it. x) Much preparing to do! For now I’m going to spend the rest of my day writing little letters to a few friends to put in the hefty packages I have ready to be mailed to them. Sinus infection is really kicking my ass, feeling exhausted after going shopping, so I just want to curl up in my Monster Pile with my notepad and some tea. Can’t decide if I want to watch Pee-Wee’s Playhouse or AAAHH!!! Real Monsters… decisions, decisions :oP
