Happy Mother’s Day to my mom… a cheerful, strong, tolerant, accepting, understanding, kind, hard-working, genuine, sharp-witted, beautiful person. My best friend. We’ve kind-of grown up together and learned from each other the past near-29 years, and we’ve gone through a hell of a lot together. I wish every person could have had the kind of mother I have. She’s half of why I am who I am, and is so many things I strive to be. I treasure every moment with her and appreciate everything she’s done for me so much. Since I just got home from visiting Farore, I didn’t have time to do much, so this is just a quick 30-minute speedpaint for her of her favorite animals.

*shrug* felt like working on a tiny speedpaint (30 min) with soothing colors.

Spooky speedpaint 13 of 13! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Spooky speedpaint 12 of 13, another request of my Scythemantis’, so far I’ve had the most fun with his suggestions :D Metaluna mutants are adorable and easily identifiable creatures that are super fun to paint. Now off to a pagan feast at our friend Dylan’s house :D I’ll try and get pictures to post later! Oh, forgot to mention, this one took 20 mins.

Spooky speedpaint 11 of 13, werewolf Marceline! I’m glad if people like this, though it will undoubtedly get more <3’s than any of the others, despite putting the least effort into it (18 mins) ah, well XD Only two left! I have no idea what I’ll do for the last one, but it’s gotta be something special…..

Spooky speedpaint 10 of 13. You get two today and possibly another later, just in case I will be too busy one or two days between now and Halloween to do one! Here’s a Boogle dressed in her monster costume. I wish I could find pink slime in the garbage. This one took about 35 minutes.

Spooky Speedpaint 9 of 13 is Dr. Seemore, the optometrist monster/demon. See a photo of the actual 2’ latex creature HERE! I just adore him, and I can’t believe this is the first time I’ve done a colored picture of him. I’ve sketched him like mad, but it was so fun to paint him. This one took about 30 mins.

Spooky Speedpaint 8 of 13, a fiji mermaid! Well, how I imagine one to look still alive. And sexy. 25 minutes on this one.

Spooky Speedpaint 7 of 13 is… HEDORAH! Took about 30 minutes on this one. I really like how it came out. I wanted to paint him his more natural colors, but decided to go with a pink base, just to see how it would come out. I rather like it.

We finally got pumpkins last night, going to carve them in a few hours! :) Can’t believe we’re already only 6 days away from the last day of October. This month flew by :’c

Spooky Speedpaint 5 of 13, my KittyMonster in his Halloween cat form. I tried for a bit of a vintage Halloween postcard feel but it didn’t come out quite right. This one took only 20 minutes. It’s really hard to see these after I post them and not decide to go back and refine them more xD

Spooky speedpaint #4 of 13. Rickets is a ghost/monster girl I made in 2007. I haven’t drawn her much lately, and it was suggested to me that I paint her for the 13 speedpaints, so I couldn’t resist drawing her with some cute little spooky frunds. :3 I actually timed this one, 35 minutes! Getting a bit faster, though Rickets is super simple.

Oh man, I’ve already lost track of these. I started posting them on the 18th, right? Anyways, 3 of 13 spooky speedpaints I’m doing every day til Halloween! I have no idea where this came from, but I quite like it. It came out reminding me of the art to a lot of the packaging to creepy/gross toys of the 90’s. Only with boobs. And a love for cats apparently.
