More really awesome looks inside inverts: Source
I took this photo in January 2010 when one of my hissing cockroaches gave birth. These little guys were only seconds old… you can actually see the mother’s abdomen in the upper left, still releasing them. HERE is the video I took of their birth. These roaches give live birth and on average give birth to around 30 nymphs at a time.
Just some buggies I’d adopted out in October on my Adoptables FA account, VeraCreatures. :> Earwig wings are so damn beautiful.
Sifting through old photos. Here’s me reaching for a cave roach. Taken about 3 or 4 years ago. (lols, I lost 3 watchers immediately after posting this… you guys DO know who you’re following… right?) ;P
If you love invertebrates of any kind and would like to either share info/photos etc or learn from seasoned invert-keepers, please join InsectGeeks! If you do join, please put my username (CockroachMonster) as your referrer. It’s been so slow the past few months, and I really don’t want to see it die. It’s an awesome site. I’m the 3rd most active member out of 2,000+. That’s cool but kinda sad, I wish more people were more active!
Using this super old photo of one of my giant cave roach nymphs to advertise :B
I did these quite a while ago, but don’t think I ever shared them online anywhere yet. I love these tiny intricate frames, so kitschy and adorbs ;u;
A preview of some adoptables I’ve done recently. They’re currently being auctioned off and are at $20-30 a piece so far! Auction ends 9 PM EST on the 30th. I originally posted paintings of the larvae form of each of these insects, so they’ll “hatch” later to become their adult (anthro) forms :) These are super fun and I’m so glad people like them. I hope they like what they get! <3
