Just a little personal art WIP of a sunglow boa character I’m thinking of being yet another representation of myself/outlet for my desire to be a beautiful scaly slithery creature ;u; Thinking of naming her Effigia, as I was planning on making some of her features (mainly limbs, torso and position while walking) similar to the long and slender archosaur. It’s especially fitting as both my real boas are named Ghost and Eidolon :P I’m trying to resist giving her a fancy collar and third eye, but that seems to be a running “theme” for any personas I make, which may be a good and bad thing. Part of me thinks “hey this is a cool” but the bigger part of me thinks “man people must thank I’m LAME and uncreative for always throwing a third eye on all my more personal characters” x.x ANYWAY. What do you guys think?

This was my birthday cake (June 21st) my parents made for me using my own art. I also got dinosaurs and a puppet theater. I don’t know many 27-year-olds that get birthdays as awesome as mine was, I’m still kind-of winding down from it :P

Roger’s mom was made by Josh’s mom years and years ago. It’s now my most prized possession. I’m the luckiest Bogmonster this side of the swamp. <3

Yesterday was Kristy’s cat, May’s birthday. It was the most disgustingly cute thing ever. They had a tuna cake, we had awesome Indian food, delicious little silver-flaked desserts and rose ice cream.

Some new ones on the top and bottom. I acquired this collection very quickly thanks to finding good deals and people who were willing to trade them to me for art. I will probably put a halt on collecting JP after I get a few more of my main faves (Chaos Effects, hatchlings, green young T-Rex which came with the Dino Tracker set, electronic Baryonyx & Gallimimus, hand & finger puppets and maybe a couple others). I don’t really want all of them; some of the repaints, humans, vehicles etc. just don’t strike my fancy much. I would really only like one vehicle and that’s the Chaos Effect Mobile Command Center. COLORSSSS. But it probably won’t happen any time soon since it seems to sell for hundreds! If I do get any more, it will probably be crappy conditioned ones for customizing. I want to make a Jax  bull T-Rex so much it hurts XD

I’ll probably get to working on my Dino Valley, Dino Brites/Mites, MIMP and Mini-Boglins collections next. It makes me so happy to see all the colors on our shelf <3 Very inspiring to have them and all my other collections in the computer/art room while I’m drawing :)

JP collection after about a week of collecting. So far, so good ;P I am in LOVE with the 2k9 T-Rex, he’s so beautiful and I love the articulated feet. The baby Stegosaurus is sooo cuuute, I remember having almost all the ones that came with the humans except him. Those big black eyes <3 <3 <3

When Jonathan came over today, he helped me find a forum where these Dino Brites toys were posted. I was overjoyed. I wouldn’t be surprised if these were the only images on the internet of Dino Brites. I had SO MANY of these when I was little (at least 50; several doubles) and though they look very simple, cheap and ordinary, they were some of my favorite toys growing up. I made up so many little games using them. I remember playing them with my friend Elizabeth Moore in the living room floor, though she didn’t really understand some of the more complex games I’d made up with them, we had fun with the simpler ones, like setting them all up on the floor spaced out about 3” so that they covered most of the open floor area and rolling a big plastic ball (I had tons of these) across the floor and whoever knocked over the most dinosaurs “won” :P I’d love to have them again.
