I was just showing my grandma all the critters today. She is nearly 80, and all through growing up, she has been so accepting of my having pets that she hates. I used to bring in snakes, mice, rats, stick bugs, moths etc. and though she let me keep them in one room of the house, she never had any interest in them. She has the usual phobias of insects, arachnids and reptiles that people her age...

Sleep Rambling~
Jonathan and Jesse came over and we played the Wii then finished watching Hellboy 2, then Candyman. Jonathan brought me another ivory millipede (Chicobolus spinigerus) :o) Jesse and I compared our flexibility skillz. We’ll be going back to the beach day after tomorrow! After they left, I spoke to Carina and we shared many LOLs & shudders of disgust… and we exchanged observations...

FUCK YEAH, ICE CREAM TRUCK!!! It was rather lame, though. Big white pedo van with faded stickers on one side and lame (i.e. not circusy) music. I am totally going to buy an OLDSCHOOL ice cream truck, paint it lime green with bright clowny/circus-y stuff all over it, dress up like Boogle, dress Josh as Nekiah, sell more flavors of ice cream, perform for tips, and become rich from selling ice cream...

Yesterday was a lot of fun. Finally got to swim in the ocean! I hadn’t had the opportunity to since the move; it was just as I remembered it. This beach was a new one to me, though… but it’s my new favorite! My old fave has nothing on this spot <3 There were two areas… the tidepool and the beach spot. The Tidepool had brackish water and was loaded with amazing critters...
